Grocery Certificate Team

Title:  Grocery Certificate Team

Purpose: Fund Raising view certificates on Sunday mornings.

Responsible to: Grocery Team Lead and St. Luke’s Director of Finance

Description of Duties: Sell and record grocery card sales between Sunday morning services. You are responsible for opening up the safe to retrieve the grocery cards, balance sheet and the EFT forms, which are all, located in the grocery card box. Selling involves giving the correct amount of cards to the purchaser in return for their check or signature on an EFT form. Also, filling out the sales form with the amount of the sale, the store that it was for, and whether it was a check, cash or EFT. At the end of the morning, they put the cards and the balance sheet back into the safe and the EFT forms into the office grocery card box for the weekly sales.

Time Requirements: One person needed per Sunday to sell grocery cards between the hours of 8:45am-9:35am and 10:30am-11:05am. No preparation necessary. You pick the Sundays you are able to work. Calendar is online for your convenience. Team Leader will send out email reminders to work.

Term:  2yrs or as long as you are enjoying your position.

Training and Resources: Team leaders will train you on the job.
